Shared devices: protect casino accounts and purchases

Separate device access, browser payments and app-store controls so a shared phone or computer does not expose your casino account.

If other people use your phone or computer, sign out of casino accounts before handing it over and keep payment credentials behind your own device lock. A shared device should not mean shared access to an adult's account or saved card.

Children should not use an adult's casino account, including entertainment-only play. Purchase controls are an additional barrier, not permission for underage participation.

Identify where a purchase is processed

App-store controls and website checkout controls cover different routes. Before relying on a setting, establish whether purchases use Apple billing, Google Play billing, a browser card checkout or another payment service.

Match the control to the route
RouteControl to inspect
Apple In-App PurchasesScreen Time purchase restrictions and purchase authentication
Google Play billingPlay purchase verification and applicable family approvals
Website card checkoutSaved cards, browser autofill and account access
Separate wallet or payment appThat service's device and payment authentication

Removing a card from browser autofill does not necessarily remove a card saved in the casino's account. Check both places. Likewise, blocking an app-store purchase does not establish that a website checkout is blocked.

Set device and store controls deliberately

Apple's Screen Time instructions explain how to block Apple In-App Purchases or require purchase authentication. Follow the instructions for your software version and keep the controlling passcode private.

Google's family purchase-approval guidance explicitly limits those approvals to purchases using Google Play's billing system. Do not expect them to govern an unrelated payment form in a web browser.

Use separate operating-system or browser profiles where available, and avoid leaving your password manager unlocked in a shared session. Check which fingerprints or other unlock methods are registered on a device before treating biometric approval as yours alone.

Reduce unattended account access

Sign out when you finish and use a device screen lock. Enable additional account authentication if the operator offers it. Keep your email account secure too, because it may receive login resets and prize confirmations.

Do not share one casino account between adults to simplify device use. Each person's eligibility and the operator's household rules still apply. Read the multiple-account and household guide before another eligible adult registers from the same home.

Check the controls by inspecting the settings and signed-out state. There is no need to submit a real purchase to test them.

If an unexpected purchase appears

Stop further access, preserve the receipt and transaction time, and identify the billing route. Review the account and device activity you can legitimately access. Contact the merchant and payment provider promptly with accurate details about who authorized the transaction and what happened.

Use the purchase-problems guide to separate a pending authorization, completed order and duplicate charge. A device setting does not guarantee a refund after a purchase has occurred.

If the purchases are your own and you are struggling to stop, device controls alone may be too easy to reverse. Consider self-exclusion and independent support alongside removing saved payment methods. The aim is a barrier that supports your decision to stop, not another setting you repeatedly negotiate with yourself.
