How to stop casino emails, texts and notifications

Turn off promotions across account settings, email, texts and devices, then document any contact that continues after opting out.

Stopping casino marketing usually involves more than one switch. Email, text messages, browser notifications, app notifications and direct host contact can have separate settings. Work through the channels you actually receive, then save the confirmation of each request.

If you are taking a break because play is becoming hard to control, also consider self-exclusion. Unsubscribing removes reminders; it does not itself restrict account access or purchases.

Start with the official account

Open the site through your saved address and check communication or marketing preferences. Turn off promotional channels you do not want, save the change and record the date. Ask support to include any separate VIP or host contact list.

Account security, prize updates or other service messages may be handled separately from advertising. If you still need a pending prize update, ask which messages will continue and why. Keep access to essential records while removing promotions.

Deal with each delivery channel

A channel-by-channel checklist
ChannelAction to check
EmailOfficial preference center or a verified unsubscribe option
TextThe legitimate sender's stated opt-out process
Browser pushNotification permission for that specific site
Mobile appDevice notification settings for the app
Host or VIP messagesWritten request to remove you from direct promotional contact
Social feedsUnfollow, mute or adjust the relevant account or ad settings

Browser push can continue after you close a tab because it is a browser permission. Removing that permission is different from deleting an email subscription. Check each browser or device where you granted access.

Uninstalling an app does not necessarily change an email or SMS list. Likewise, blocking one sender address may hide messages without recording an opt-out with the company.

Handle suspicious messages differently

If you do not recognize the sender or the message looks deceptive, do not follow its links to unsubscribe. Open the known official site independently to check account preferences, and use your email or phone's junk-reporting tools for the suspicious message.

The FTC's spam guidance describes filters, reporting and unwanted-message controls. In the US, unwanted texts can also be forwarded to 7726 (SPAM). Never provide a password or a payment to be removed from a list.

If promotions continue

Keep the sender, channel, message date and a screenshot of the earlier opt-out confirmation. Compare the message with any processing period stated in the confirmation. Ask support to identify the list responsible and confirm that the request covers it.

If you requested self-exclusion, say that explicitly and attach the confirmation through the official support channel. Ask for the continued promotional contact to be investigated as part of that restriction. Keep the case number and outcome.

You can also mute or block the channel while the request is investigated. If the reminders keep pulling you back into sessions, the National Problem Gambling Helpline can connect you with support. You do not need to keep reading offers to preserve access to help or account records.
