Crown Coins faces BBB alert over prize-redemption complaints

Crown Coins faced a BBB alert over prize-redemption disputes. The bureau also recorded the account and verification issues cited in company responses.

By August 7, 2026, the Better Business Bureau serving Central Virginia had issued a consumer alert and given Crown Coins Casino an F rating after players reported difficulty collecting prizes. WWBT reported the alert on August 7.

The BBB alert, still displayed on September 26, described a recurring pattern of complaints about obstacles to redemption. It also recorded the company's explanations: duplicate accounts, payment cards in another person's name, missing verification and use of the platform from an excluded state. In some cases, Crown Coins directed customers to a third-party digital-card provider to trace a payout.

The bureau's profile listed failure to answer 42 complaints among the reasons for its F rating on September 26. That figure described unanswered BBB complaints, rather than a verified number of unpaid prizes.

The alert documented the disagreement between customers seeking prizes and the company's account of why requests could not proceed or needed follow-up elsewhere. BBB says it does not verify information supplied by third parties. Its published complaints and rating do not establish the outcome of every individual redemption claim.
