Bank linking failed? Checks before you try again
Find out whether a bank-link problem belongs to the connection provider, your bank or the casino, and keep your details private.

A failed bank connection does not necessarily mean your prize request was rejected. First identify where the process stopped: finding the bank, signing in, selecting an account, or returning to the casino. Save the exact error before trying again.
Bank linking and a completed redemption are separate steps. After a successful connection, return to the casino's redemption history to confirm whether a request actually exists.
Match the error to the right next step
| What you see | Check | Who can clarify it |
|---|---|---|
| Bank missing from the list | The method's supported institutions | Casino or connection provider |
| Bank sign-in rejected | Access through your bank's own app or website | Your bank |
| Connection succeeds but account is unavailable | Eligible account type and required permissions | Casino and connection provider |
| Wrong or unfamiliar account displayed | Account selection and the bank's displayed identifiers | Your bank or connection provider |
| Link completes but no prize request appears | Final confirmation and redemption history | Casino support |
Use your bank's own address to check sign-in access. If that also fails, resolve the banking access problem before restarting the casino flow. Do not keep guessing a password through multiple login attempts.
A bank supported elsewhere may not work here
Plaid's connection guidance explains that an institution can work with one app but not another because the apps require different capabilities. A bank appearing in another financial app is therefore not proof that this redemption method supports it.
Check whether the casino offers another permitted method you already have and can use. A gift card is not an interchangeable substitute for cash to your checking account. Read its conditions before selecting it.
Do not open another casino account, borrow someone's bank account or make a purchase to test whether a redemption connection works. Those steps do not identify the connection error.
Check ownership and account selection
Match the receiving account to the operator's ownership requirements and your verified identity. If joint accounts are involved, ask what evidence is accepted rather than assuming that any account with your name on it qualifies.
When several accounts appear, check the type and selected destination. If the last four digits differ from what you expected, ask the bank or connection provider to identify the displayed number before confirming. Do not edit details simply to make two screens look the same.
Only enter banking credentials in the verified bank-connection flow. An agent answering a ticket does not need your password, security answers or one-time code. Plaid's consumer support guidance can help identify the party responsible for a connection problem.
Send one useful support request
Include the bank name, chosen redemption method, error wording, date and time zone, device/browser, and the stage where it failed. State whether signing in directly with the bank works. Mask account numbers in screenshots.
Ask whether the institution and account type are currently supported, whether there is a known connection incident, and whether an alternative verification route exists. Keep any separate redemption request ID in the same record. If the bank is linked but an existing request is delayed, move to the redemption-problems guide rather than unlinking and reconnecting repeatedly.
