How GoodSweeps Stays Independent

Last updated: October 14th, 2025

We’re here to help players make smarter choices without pay-to-play. Our reviews and ratings are written independently by the GoodSweeps editorial team.

What “independent” means here

We don’t sell ratings. We don’t run casinos. We don’t take referral/affiliate commissions. Our content is for education and comparison. Nothing more, nothing less.

How we make money (now and later)

Right now, we don’t run memberships, donations, or data sales.

If we introduce advertising in the future, we’ll keep it sparingly used and non-distracting from the content. If we ever run sponsorships or paid placements, they’ll be clearly labeled, and our reviews/ratings won’t change because of them. We may allow casinos to buy ads; that still won’t affect scores or placement in rankings.

Zero affiliates. No pay-to-play.

We do not use affiliate links or referral codes. No paid boosts. No “featured” rankings for cash.

Editorial firewall

  • Who decides: Ratings and content decisions are made by the GoodSweeps editorial team.
  • No veto: The business/ops side has no veto over scores or conclusions.

No comps, no gifts

We do not accept free coins, free accounts, or “test” balances from operators.
Staff may not accept gifts or gift cards from operators or vendors.

What we base our reviews on

  • Operator terms and product changes
  • Firsthand testing and documented feature checks
  • Relevant user reports and patterns we can verify

We aim to be accurate and transparent. If something changes, we update our pages as needed.

Corrections & re-reviews

Operators can request a re-review after material changes (e.g., T&Cs, payouts, geoblocking, support). Any reader may reach out to inform us of changes or discrepancies they’ve found. We aim to review requests in a reasonable timeframe; urgent factual fixes are prioritized.

We log corrections and material updates to keep readers informed.

Using our scores

You may quote our scores or short excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page. Using our brand or scores in paid ads requires written permission.
