About GoodSweeps
Last updated: October 14th, 2025
We’re an independent, player-first guide to sweepstakes casinos. No affiliates. No pay-to-play. We read the fine print, test sites on real devices, and score them on a clear 1–5 scale so you can decide quickly (and confidently).
Why we exist
Too many “reviews” are written to please the casinos that fund them. We’re players ourselves, and we got tired of bloated, affiliate-driven lists where the top picks looked nothing like our actual experience. When rankings are tied to revenue-share deals, independence disappears. That dynamic felt a lot like lobbying in politics. Bad for regular people, and in our world, bad for players.
GoodSweeps exists to change that: real, unbought reviews that reflect how these sites actually work.
What makes us different
- Zero affiliates. We don’t take referral commissions and we don’t sell rankings.
- Player-first testing. We use the sites like you do: on desktop and modern iOS/Android devices to check availability, speed, UI, redemption steps, and support.
- Facts over fluff. Big bonuses don’t impress us if the path to a payout is buried under heavy playthroughs or high minimum redemptions.
- Transparent coverage. If a rule changes or a term shifts, we note it. Serious red flags are called out early in reviews.
What we track
We’re currently tracking 170+ sweepstakes sites across 40+ categories. We intentionally exclude highly untrusted or known-scam sites.
How we review (the short version)
We compare each site against its peers and judge the whole picture, no rigid percentage weights. Our work blends:
- Operator materials: official pages, help docs, and T&Cs (useful, but never the whole story).
- Firsthand testing: account flows, device checks, redemtpion paths where applicable.
- Verified player sentiment: consistent patterns from forums and social communities.
For the nuts and bolts, see our Methodology page.
True independence
Our reviews and ratings are written by the GoodSweeps editorial team. We don’t accept free coins or test accounts, and we keep our team names off-page to avoid unsolicited offers. If we ever run advertising in the future, it will be used sparingly, clearly labeled, and will never influence ratings.

Updates & re-reviews
The industry moves fast. We update on a rolling basis and show a “Last reviewed” date on each page. Operators can request a re-review after material changes to their product; readers can send tips any time. We also maintain a corrections/updates log.
When dodgy casinos pivot into unrelated sites (this is more common than you might think), we remove or flag them so our directory stays clean.
How to use GoodSweeps
Go to the Reviews section and select the filters that matter like state availability, payment methods, and game types. Then open a few reviews to see the full scoring, a screenshot of the site, and our quick ⚖️ Verdict. If you want depth, the full write-ups dig into payouts, rules, value of promos and more.
Not legal advice
We’re an educational comparison site. Nothing here is legal, financial, or gambling advice. Always read the operator’s terms before you play.
